We at Industrial Parts are very sorry to hear about your garage. Industrial Parts is a US Motors' distributor and not the manufacturer. If you ordered this motor from us we would be more than happy to take a look and see if it qualifies for a warranty replacement, but we have not been contacted about this situation until now.
With that being said, if the motor caught on fire like that it sounds like it was either wired incorrectly or not sufficient in handling the electrical load of your application.
